Born in 1959, the world has been at war all of my life and most of those years, the United States has been actively involved in some military action. In addition; there has been urban unrest in America’s cities, not to mention the world as a whole. Overthrow of governments and the rise of dictator leadership, genocide, human trafficking, blood diamond trade, and the war on drugs; the world has become a very dangerous place. Adding terrorism to the mix of violence; the people have been killing each other in epidemic proportions.
When we look at how much money the illegal sale of narcotics pumps into our economy; it is hard to believe that there is a war on drugs. It is more like a war for drugs to keep that extra money flowing into retail sales of big ticket items. In the 1980s and 1990s; subdivisions of $1.5 million dollar homes were erected for hundreds of buyers in the communities northwest of Chicago. Where is the money coming from if not from drugs? Money earned through blood!
The world has become a violent and bloody place. Has there ever been a time of wars and rumors of wars like today? Every day at least one person is murdered in the greater Chicago metropolitan area. Gang violence is on the rise along with rape, assault and armed robbery.
Matthew 24:6-7 KJV And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (7) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Jesus Christ told His disciples, whom we are, to watch and be vigilant; be prepared for the world to become a dangerous place. World conditions will get worse until human life is at the point of utter destruction. Jesus says that no flesh would be saved alive accept that those days be shortened for the elect’s sake!
Matthew 24:22 KJV And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
The elect are the chosen; true Christians; the saints of the Most High God! Has God called you? Are you one of the chosen? Are you a real Christian? Are you living for Jesus?
The Red Horse of Revelation
There is no doubt that we are a world at war. There is no peace. Peace negotiations are common and empty; providing little to no resolve. The twentieth Century was marked by peace organizations which could not bring about peace; the League of Nations, NATO and the United Nations. Peace is talked about; but not achieved!
Jeremiah 6:14 KJV They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
Jeremiah 6:14 CEV All they ever offer to my deeply wounded people are empty hopes for peace.
Mankind will have to be brought to her knees and bow before Jesus; with a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart. War will bring the nations down to the final battle to end all battles.
Revelation 6:3-4 KJV And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. (4) And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Mankind loves to do battle. The blood that will be poured out at the last battle will be so great that it will reach a horse’s bridle; and over an area of 200 square miles. That would be an area larger than all of Northern Illinois. That is not even imaginable; beyond human comprehension.
Revelation 14:20 KJV And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
Our only protection is in the name of Jesus Christ. He is our strong tower; the righteous run to Him and are safe.
Proverbs 18:10 KJV The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Are you baptized in the name of Jesus Christ? Have you received the gift of the Holy Ghost? Now is the time to Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Then you will have protection and salvation; peace of mind and confidence in the hope of the future; not just for a few short years in the flesh of human life; but for all eternity! Seek the LORD while He may be found!
