Delivered From All Fear

Americans have been conditioned to live in fear.  Urban dwellers fear armed robbery, assault, rape and murder among the national fear issues of war, failed economy and job loss.  Lately, there seems to be an increase of natural disasters like earthquakes, tornados, and hurricanes.  Farmers fear the weather, disease of their livestock, draught and market conditions.  Domestic violence is on the rise, people driving cars under the influence of drugs and alcohol in addition to people driving with severe mental problems; all of these add to the fears of the American people.  Safety in peace with a joyous mind seems to be out of reach of increasing masses.  The odds are that you live with some fear; yet you can be delivered from all fear.  This is a promise of God because He is no respecter of persons.  That which was good for the Psalmist is a standard and a promise for all; including you and me today.  Notice these scriptures:

Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.

Acts 10:34  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

Romans 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

So how do we get delivered from ALL of our fears?  It is as simple as living in the LORD, under God’s umbrella of blessings!  Since Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden because they rejected God and then God had to reject them; man has chosen to live apart from God. 

With the fall of man, there came a curse; that curse is that man is on his own; deciding for himself a moral code of conduct.  Man entered the realm of time and chance.  Natural disasters would not be held back; the evil of men’s hearts would have no restraint.

Ecclesiastes 9:11  I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

The carnal mind of man is out for destruction; of self and of everyone else!  It does not want to live in love and peace with fellow man.  Even in the face of the death penalty, some have murdered without restraint!  Man’s mind is the enemy of God and fellow man.

Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Man has been cut off from God by his own choice.  God has had a “Hands Off” policy in regards to man.  From Eden, man wanted his freedom from God and God gave it.  But He did reserve to call those whom He chose for His own divine purpose.  Abraham was the first after the flood.  God gave promises to Abraham and it is the descendants of Abraham who have had access to God in the ancient world before Jesus Christ.  The Christian Church was started by a descendant of Abraham and David of the House of Judah; Christ Jesus the LORD.  Any Jew who accepted Christ had access to the LORD; the Holy Spirit which is the Tree of Life.  Then God called Saul of Tarsus to open access to Jesus; that is access to God for the Gentiles (all non Jews).  If you will seek Jesus Christ, the LORD, while He may be found, then you can live in Christ and be free from fear.  But you must seek the LORD now!

Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

You must call upon His name which is Jesus Christ.  There is no other name of power, protection and salvation.

Acts 4:10-12  Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.  (11)  This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.  (12)  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

You are not reading this devotional article by accident. God is calling you through it; and now is your time to respond; your time to start living IN and FOR Jesus Christ.

GOSPEL: DEATH – BURIAL AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST

ActS 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  (39)  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

You enter Christ through 1) REPENTANCE, 2) IMMERSION WATER BAPTISM IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF YOUR SINS 3) BAPTISM OF THE SPIRIT – RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST WITH THE EVIDENCE, OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES.

Romans 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

By following the Apostle Peter’s instructions; that came directly from Jesus Christ; you can become a child of God; calling Him Abba, or Daddy; and He will be a perfect Daddy to you.  As a child of God, you are removed from time and chance; you are given a sound and Godly mind; peace of mind with power and love that come from the Father in Heaven.  Jesus Christ will live in you through the Holy Ghost!

Scripture says that ALL things work together for good to those who love God!

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

We can live under the umbrella of God’s love, power and protection with peace of mind; or we can live under the curse of the fall of man which introduced fear into the world.  After Adam and Eve sinned, God asked, “Adam where are you?”  Adam answered and said, “I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.”  Break the bondage of fear today. 

TURN TO CHRIST!  REPENT; BE BAPTIZED IN JESUS’ NAME AND RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST!  FEAR WILL BE REPLACED WITH A CONFIDENT, SOUND AND PEACEFUL MIND AND YOU WILL BE ON THE PATH OF ETERNAL SALVATION IN CHRIST!
