Weeping and Gnashing Teeth

Weeping and Gnashing Teeth

When we think of Jesus Christ, we think of Him as the Lamb of God and I believe this is because John the Baptist identified Him as the Lamb of God.  There is also the description of the Kingdom of God after all things are fulfilled and there will be a new heaven and a new earth; when New Jerusalem comes down from heaven and is established on earth and the throne of the Lamb is the center of the city.  We see the kinder and gentler side of Jesus Christ as depicted by His name Lamb.  We are also reminded of His great sacrifice of blood and body; freely given out of abundant grace and mercy for the redemption and healing of all people everywhere.

Traditional Christianity, for the most part, has taken one of two views:
1.    Keep the people beat down with rules, regulations and fear; making the Kingdom of God a mystery and unattainable.
2.    Weaken the enduring power of the WORD of God, the Holy Bible by changing it to meet contemporary liberalism and thus eradicating the whole concept of sin.  A new Christianity has been created; that rubber stamps, with approval, the lifestyles and values that are abhorrent to God.  Included in this group are the ever increasing list of prosperity evangelists who preach a feel good religion with no responsibility.

Reality is that Christendom needs a wake up call.  Jesus Christ is King of kings and He is returning soon.  All of Heaven’s armies are coming with Him to set this world on the straight and narrow path of the Way, the path of Christ and His righteousness.

Revelation 19:11-16 (11)  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  (12)  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  (13)  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.  (14)  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  (15)  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  (16)  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

It should be the goal of every Christian to be a part of that Heavenly Army of Christ!  The true saints will rule over the nations with Jesus.

Revelation 2:26-27 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:  (27)  And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Weeping And Gnashing Of Teeth

Read the complete accounts below, where Jesus describes the type of people who will be sentenced to judgment; those who will weep and gnash their teeth.  The little LORD Jesus became our savior and showed us the way of the cross; a way of suffering and self sacrifice, the way of a Christian.  That same Jesus of the nativity is coming back with a sword.  It will be a time of great rejoicing for the righteous and a time of weeping and gnashing of teeth for the wicked.

Matthew 22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 24:50-51  The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,  (51)  And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Time is short!  None of us knows just how short it may be for us.  Three times in the past two years, my life hung in the balance at deaths door.  Christ could have come for me if I would have died.  Praise the LORD and thank you Jesus, that you my LORD have keep me faithful.  Live or die, I had the victory in all three of those trials.  We all must examine ourselves on a daily basis.  We must totally surrender to Jesus Christ.  The faith that will ensure that we endure unto the end comes from Christ.  Now is the time to make your calling an election sure.

2 Peter 1:9-11 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.  (10)  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  (11)  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We all stand alone before Jesus Christ.  We have been purged from sin.  Let us now stay steadfast in the LORD!  It is up to you.
