Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited

In my 52 years, Jerusalem has never seen peace.  It has been a powder keg of Arab and Israeli conflict.  Two step brothers; Abraham’s sons, fighting for over 3,000 years; but then we are all one big family of the earth that can’t seem to get along.  Is not God the Father of us all?  Are not we all heirs of the Kingdom of God?  Do we not all share a brotherhood with Christ Jesus our LORD? 

It truly is a ludicrous thought that the people of the earth will have to be forced to live in peace and harmony; be forced to live in the blessings of the LORD; forced to have health and abundance.  We are such a selfish creation without Christ.  That is why we need the Holy Ghost, Christ living in us; His presence leading us to the good life; eternally with Him.

The whole earth waits in travail for the second coming of Jesus; as a mother in labor suffers the arrival of her child; we anguish in watching the events unfold as we near that great and glorious, yet terrible Day of the LORD.

THE DAY OF THE LORD:  RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST

All of my life, from preschool age until now, the return of Jesus Christ has been the focus of my life.  Thousands of hours have been spent in Bible study, prayer and meditation on the Day of the LORD, the End Time, and the Return of Jesus Christ; which scholars and theologians call, eschatology.  This huge investment of time has blessed me with a vivid picture of the future and has made eternity with the LORD a reality in my heart and mind.  I have lived all of my life to be a part of the army of saints that will return with Jesus Christ; fight against the anti-Christ and the nations gathered outside of Jerusalem at Armageddon.  It is only through that battle to end all battles that peace will be established as Christ the LORD rules as King of kings.  The battle will be so horrible, that the blood of the slaughter will reach the horse’s bridles for over 200 square miles.

Zechariah 14:1-3 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.  (2)  For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.  (3)  Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Revelation 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. (200 square miles)

Revelation 16:16-19 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.  (17)  And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.  (18)  And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.  (19)  And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

PEACE IN JERUSALEM

Man has proven throughout history that he is not capable of ruling himself in peace.  The world has seen violence and war since Cain committed the first murder.  For the first time, there will be peace; not just in Jerusalem, but throughout the world.

Zechariah 14:11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

ALL NATIONS SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD

Zechariah 14:16-18 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.  (17)  And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.  (18)  And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

You can escape the great tribulation that will come upon the world just before the Day of the LORD.  Now is the time to put your house in order.  Now is the time to get right with God.  Now is the time to seek salvation and give your life to Jesus.  Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  You can be in Heaven’s Army with Christ when He returns to bring peace to Jerusalem and the world!  Now is your time!
