The Role of the Church

For nearly fifty years, the LORD has been nurturing me in the tools of prayer, Bible Study and meditation.  Through these tools I have met with the LORD in heavenly places.  The WORD comes alive and an anointing of the Holy Ghost transports me into visions so vivid of the return of Jesus Christ.

A PARTNER TO TALK TO

In the beginning there was just the WORD who was God.  He remains eternally the same in history, the present and forever.  God is all powerful, all present, and all knowing.  He is love and love is magnified when shared.  The WORD spoke a plan into existence and all that was made was made through Jesus Christ, the WORD made flesh.  The plan was to have a bride and then a huge family.  This family would emanate from the Holy City, New Jerusalem on a New Earth and expand throughout the universe, magnifying the Kingdom of God for all eternity.  This will be the time when we will move like the wind and even faster; by instant fiat; the fullness of being born again of Spirit.

John 1:1-3, 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  (2)  The same was in the beginning with God.  (3)  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  (14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

God tells us in Genesis that we are made in His image and in His likeness.  God is Father and provides the Church to be our mother.  He opened the door to children by coming to us as the Son, Emmanuel (God with us), Jesus Christ, our LORD and Savior.  The cross became a portal, a doorway into eternity.  The Gospel is THE DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION of JESUS CHRIST.   We must enter the Gospel and follow Christ.  THIS WE DO THROUGH REPENTANCE, BAPTISM IN JESUS NAME AND RECEIVING THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST.  As the Church has matured through the ages and as we mature in the SPIRIT, we move from being children to preparing to be the BRIDE OF CHRIST.

THE CHURCH IS THE VEHICLE THROUGH WHICH GOD AS A FATHER IS CALLING CHILDREN TO GROW AND MATURE TO BECOME THE BRIDE OF CHRIST.  GOD BECAME LIKE US SO THE WE CAN BECOME LIKE HIM.  TRANSFORMED AND MATURED BY THE INFILLING OF THE HOLY GHOST, WE BECOME THE BRIDE AND ENTER INTO A MARRIAGE PARTNERSHIP WITH CHRIST AT HIS RETURN AND THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB.
