Jesus Christ Has Already Returned

Prognosticators from Nostradamus and before have been setting dates for the return of our LORD Jesus Christ.  Jesus told us that no man will be able to predict His return that only the Father knows the time.

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Attending a 30 day youth camp at age fourteen in 1973, over zealous camp personnel led Bible studies on a daily basis that focused on their presumed fact that the rapture was going to take place in 1973.  Thirty days of being brain washed had a profound impact on all of the campers.  Nothing was more important than prayer, Bible study, fasting and meditation.  Entering high school that fall seemed futile and unnecessary since Christ was coming imminently.  From High Honor Roll to near failing grades, both my teachers and my parents were extremely frustrated and nothing they said could undo the brainwashing of those 30 days, until 1973 was history and Christ didn’t return.

It was devastating for the church members as a whole.  People had let their health run down; their teeth rot in their heads, their houses to go without maintenance and their cars to go without needed safety repairs.  We were a sad lot of people.  Some people had sold their homes and had given all of their money to preach the Gospel in the early 1970s. 

Blowing off the first semester of high school waiting for the rapture; the second semester was spent wandering in disillusionment, all was futile.  Then the Holy Ghost gave me a wakeup call.  A new approach to life had to be formulated in order to survive:

“Always be ready for Christ to return today.

Then plan on living to the ripe old age of 90.”

Having to take double the required courses over the next 3 years, my A average and High Honor Roll status was restored and every day since has been living life to its fullest while always being ready for the return of Christ.

Jesus Christ Has Already Returned For Many

The grave yards are filled with saints and sinners alike who have experienced the second coming of Jesus Christ.  Those who believed, were baptized and lived the transformational life of a Christian to the end are saved.

Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Enduring to the end means living and staying faithful to the teachings of Christ; being separate from the world; embracing holiness and being transformed by the Holy Ghost and living in Christ!

Be Not Fooled

Those who did not believe and were not baptized; those who scoffed at the Bible and our LORD; and died apart from Christ; they are damned!  Those who were never convinced and convicted in their heart that Jesus is the LORD God Almighty; who didn’t believe, but were a Christian in name only; they are damned.  Those who believed that they could pick and choose which parts of God’s WORD they would live by, who rewrite the Bible to condone their lifestyle; they are damned!  This is not my judgment, but the very words of Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Now is the time to seek the LORD while He may be found.  Now is the time to be prepared in your spiritual walk with the LORD.  Now is the time to Repent; to be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and be filled with the Holy Ghost!  If you are a backslidden Blood washed, Baptized in Jesus Name, Holy Ghost filled Christian; REPENT!  If you have never been baptized in Jesus name (full water immersion) and been filled with the Holy Ghost; REPENT!

An accident, earthquake, tornado or any number of natural disasters and violent acts of men could take your life today and Christ will have returned for you!  Are you ready?
